Canidates to be a Bishop(episcoptate), a Priest(presbyterate) and a Deacon(diaconate) all receive Holy Orders
Form: The bishop's specific consecration prayer asking God for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and his gifts proper to the ministry in which the candidate is being ordained.
Matter: Laying on of the bishop's hands with the consecratory prayer
Minister: The bishop is allowed to ordain priests and deacons and can ordain other bishops if the people give permission
Rite: Holy Orders is a very honorable sacrament. Not everyone is called to the life of a religious minister so not everyone will receive this sacrament. Bishops are the ministers of this sacrament. This ceremony is very sacred and must be preformed correctly with the essential consecratory prayer and laying on of hands. Bishops often say prayers that relate to the ministry of the candidate.
The difference between PArish Priests and Religious Priests:
Although similar, religious and parish priests are different. They both take vows of poverty, chastity and obedience but they preform different actions. Religious priests lives are often oriented in a special way to the virtue of religion so that all they do becomes a continual act of the worship of God. They live in a community in most instances and engage in a certain type of ministry. Parish priests, on the other hand, have a definite duty of serving in their assigned parish. They also fall under the rule of their diocesan bishop. Both sects are important and play different roles in the religious community.
